TOLER, Gladys Brown, 82, of Rocky Mount, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2002, at her home. She was a longtime member of Glade Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death was her mother, Mary H. Brown and father, Ozz Brown; also two sisters, Nora Holcomb and Elizabeth Cundiff; and one great-grandchild, Travis Michael Toler. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Kermit O. Toler; two sons, Buddie and Marie Toler, Wayne Toler and girlfriend, Gail, all of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren, Michael Toler and girlfriend, Lori, Kim and Willis Bruggemann, all of Rocky Mount and Greg Toler of Alexandria; two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Aaron Bruggemann; and two children she considered great-grandchildren, Lesley and Logan Cook. She had one niece, Robin H. Webb and grand-nephew, Cody Webb. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. David Long Officiating. Interment will follow in the Toler Family Cemetery. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
