"Jason Andrew Abbe, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, knowing Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was born on Sept. 15, 1980, in Ventura. He was a 2003 graduate of Ventura High School. Jason had worked for Oil Field Electric in Ventura and previously at Imation Corp. in Camarillo. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and barbequing, time spent on the ocean, traveling with family, outdoor activities, yard work, he loved animals, time spent with family and helping others in need. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Warren Abbe. Jason is survived by his mother, Margaret C. Abbe, of Ventura; brothers, Paul E. Abbe and wife Joan, of Oxnard, Douglas G. Abbe and wife Amalia, of Ventura, Mark W. Abbe and wife Laurel, of Ventura, Scott R. Abbe and wife Anita, of Ventura, Matthew T. Abbe and wife Bevin, of Camarillo; nephews, Donald, Eric Anthony, Justin, and Ezra; nieces, Crystal, Alex, Kayla, Jayne, Kimberly and Audrey, and great-niece, Alexis. Jason was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and will be missed by everyone who knew him."
