Rites Thurs. For Bruce M Bitner
Bruce M. Eitner aged 74 passed away at 10:00 am Tuesday in a local hospital.
The funeral will be Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at Cedar Grove Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The minister will be Rev Duane E Neumann.
Active pall bearers will be Claude Waddle, Glen Broyles, Ralph Johnson, Hubert Wilhoit, Frank Lee Shaw, and Blaine Miller. Honorary pall bearers will be Bruce Shaw, Raleigh Kimery, Vivian Love, Louis Love, Davie Carter, Hartsell Jaynes, Harvie Shaw, Troy Shaw, J N Patton, Henry Patton, Bill Treadway, Gilbert Kimery, Frank Morelock, Bruce Morelock, Rex Morelock, Worley Jennings, and Jake Jennings.
Flower bearers will be Roxie Shaw, Flora Bowman, Cleo Clide, Selma Wilhoit, Mary W Shelton, Virginia Waddle, Joyce Broyles, Charlotte Shaw, Mable Ruth Bitner, Genevieve Broyles, Edith Kimery, Pearl Love, Virginia Love, and Oda Jaynes. Survivors include the wife Mrs Bruce Bitner; three brothers Rufus of Kentucky, Tom of Chuckey, and Clarence of Virginia, two sisters, Mrs Bessie Roberts of Kentucky, and Mrs Nola Odle of Virginia, five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The body will remain at Doughty -Stevens Funeral Home until time for the service.
