Dr. Milton C. Bergeon, of Grand Rapids, MI (formerly of Mason) is at peace with our Lord, passing away at age 79 on August 18, 2007.
Milton graduated from Mason High School in 1946. Following service in the U.S. Navy, he completed medical school and received degrees from MSU and U of M.
Milton married the love of his life, Margie, on December 27, 1952. They settled in Mason where Milton served his community as a general practitioner for over 25 years.
He is survived by his eight children, Cheryl (Mathew Simpson) Bergeon of Santa Cruz, CA, Michael (Donna) Bergeon of Jenison, MI, Kathy (Joe) Dean of Mason, MI, Stephen (Cheryl) Bergeon of Arlington Heights, IL, Cindy (Greg) Deskins of Tazwell, VA, Mary (Paul) Elderkin of Grand Rapids, MI, Scott (Sharon) Bergeon of Irvine, CA, and Beth (Ted) Ioaklmidis of Lexington, MA. He was also blessed with 15 grandchildren.
A Funeral Liturgy was celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, Mason, on Wednesday, August 22.
