Ralph E. (Red) Frick, age 79, of 259 Landing Rd. died Saturday, July 23, 2011 in the Self Regional Medical Center. He was born in Newberry and was the son of the late William David and Julia Melvina Livingston Frick. Mr. Frick was a retired painting contractor and a U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Overstreet Frick of the home; two sons, Boyce Reo (Rock) Overstreet of Laurens and Ralph Edward (Eddie) Frick, II of Chapin; two daughters, Sara Frick Kitchens of Whitmire and Rachel Frick Douglas of Laurens; a sister, Nancy Frick Bobb of Prosperity; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Rueben David Frick; a daughter, Nancy Frick Gunter; two brothers, James William Frick and Harold E. Frick; two sisters, Lucille Frick Forrest and Willie Mae Frick Wicker. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in the Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church with interment at Rosemont Cemetery in Clinton.
