RUSSELL J. REBB
TURIN - Russell J, Rebb, 76, of 159 Ford St., Boonville, a retired driver for Allied Van Lines, died yesterday in the Lewis County General Hospital in Lowville. He was born at Beaver Falls. He spent his early life at Beaver Falls and in Lowville. He had been employed at one time on the St. Lawrence Division of the New York Central Railroad. He married Mae Cummins in 1920 in Detroit. The couple then moved to Buffalo, where Mr. Rebb was employed by the Allied Van Lines Company. They moved to Turin in 1947 where Mr. Rebb was employed by the Town of Turin highway maintenance department. He retired a few years ago. Mrs. Rebb died in 1960. Since hi wife's death, Mr. Rebb had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Russell (Dorothy) Kellogg of Boonville. He was a member of the Turin Methodist Church. Besides his daughter in Boonville he leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Milton (Lucille) Burdick of Buffalo and Mrs. Roy (Betty) Oakley of Stevensville, Ontario, Canada; a stepson, Theodore Rebb of Bridgeport, Conn., and a brother Chester Burdick of Syracuse. The funeral will be at 1:30 Wednesday from the Trainor Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Castorland Union Cemetery next spring. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today and tomorrow.
