"Mrs. Penelope Wolfe, widow of the Hon. Simeon K. Wolfe, member of Congress from the New Albany district nearly thirty years ago, died yesterday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock at her home in that city. Many months ago she fell at her home and fractured her left hip. Since that time she had been in failing health, and her death was indirectly due to the accident. She was seventy-nine years old and she leaves five children- Charles D., Robert and Edward Wolf (sic), New Albany; Mrs. Ella Wolfe Leatherman, of Louisville, and Thomas F. Wolfe, of New York, and three grandchildren - Mrs. McIntyre, Mrs. Utz and Lee H. Stephens."
