"Mima", a 64-year old widow is listed as living with her son, Charles Landrith in Fairview township, Labettte county, Kansas in the 1900 census. She is listed as the mother of five all of whom are living as of 6 June 1900.

According to the 1910 U.S. Census for Labette county, Liberty township, Kansas, Jemma Landrith was living with her son-in-law, A. T. Holmes and his wife Mintie. She was a 73-year-old widow at this time.
It is thought, though not confirmed, that at the time of Jemina's death her residence was Chetopa, but that she died at Oswego.
