James W. McFadden, 54, of Perryville, near Parker, died of natural causes at 9:05 a.m. Saturday at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.
Born Feb. 5, 1950, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Richard and Viola Powell McFadden.
He worked at Indspec in Petrolia since October 1978. He was a Protestant.
Mr. McFadden served in the Army from August 1969 to August 1971 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Vietnam Veterans Association.
Surviving are his wife: Sandra L. Hartman McFadden; a son, James W. McFadden Jr. of Bruin; two granddaughters; a sister, Sally McFadden of Pittsburgh; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
McFADDEN - Friends of James W. McFadden, who died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at H. JACK BUZARD FUNERAL HOME, Wayne Street, Parker. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be Wednesday morning at Perryville Cemetery, near Parker.
