"Edwin M. Alexander, 905 Eleventh street NE, a Cedar Rapids resident for 20 years and a veteran of World War I, died in the Veterans hospital, Iowa City, at 11:15 a.m. Sunday following a long illness. He was born July 20, 1894, in Iowa.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, the former Addie Howard, are a daughter, Miss Alice Erickson of Waterloo, and a sister, Mrs. Flossie Burgess of Buffalo. He was a member of the Evanelical church at Buffalo.
Services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. L. T. Olson. Burial will be in the Morrison Cemetery, near Buffalo, where military services will be conducted by Hanford post of the American Legion. Friends may call at the chapel."
