Israel Boone was born near Chalfont, New Britain Twp, Bucks Co., PA, the son of Squire Boone & Sarah Morgan Boone (both buried at Joppa Cem.; for his siblings see: Squire Boone's gravesite.

He died near Mocksville, Davie Co., NC, at the age of 30 years. His body was interred Jun 1756. In the book, "Boone Family to America 1670-1720, Vol. II, written and published by Jim White in 2009, the long lost wife of Israel Boone is discussed. On pages 97 and 102 Israel Boone married Martha Farmer on Dec. 31, 1747, at Montgomery Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. John Marks in Montgomery Township, Philadelphia Co., PA. Witnesses: Squire and Sarah Boone, and Martha's father, Samuel Farmer, Sr. Martha Farmer was born in 1728, to Samuel Farmer, Sr., and first wife, Martha Thomas, in Whitemarsh, Philadelphia Co., PA, and died of Tuberculosis, before her husband, Israel, in 1756 in Rowan Co., NC.


Israel died of consumption leaving four children. Brother Daniel and wife Rebecca took them in and raised them as their own.
