Thomas E. Downs, Jr., 82 of Aurora, died November 25, 2003 in Aurora, Colorado.
Thomas E. Downs, Jr. was born August 23, 1921 in Lorain, OH, an only child to the late Thomas E. and Julia Downs.
Thomas served in the Army and Air Force from 1943 to 1972. He retired from the Air Force at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, CO, as Senior Master Sergeant. After retirement, he worked for Dictaphone in Denver and Wylie Electronics in Thornton.
On November 21, 1952, Thomas was joined in the holy matrimony to Mary Elizabeth Williams of Jacksonville, FL.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife Mary E. Downs of Aurora, CO, two sons; Michael Douglas Downs and Gary Thomas Downs of Aurora, CO, two daughters; Julia Ann Downs and Michelle Antonette Downs of Aurora, CO, four granddaughters; Nicole Michelle Jackson of New York City, NY, Michelle Nicole Downs,Corinne Lorell Desmond and Cassidy Ann Desmond of Aurora, CO, one grandson Nicholas Thomas Downs of Aurora, CO, and 4 great grandchildren; Craig, Keeyana, Danaye, and London.
