Roy Lee Hunnicutt, age 70; of Ola, AR died Monday, February 15, 1993 at Chambers Memorial Hospital at Danville. He was a retired sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army, son of the late Julian and LaVesta Ryals Hunnicutt, and a member of Fisher-Law Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Plainview, Plainview and Bluffton Masonic Lodges, and New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War and a York Rite Mason and a Scottish Rite Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vesta Francis Hunnicutt; three sons, Richard Hunnicutt of Ola, Paul Hunnicutt of Russellville and James David Hunnicutt of Virginia Beach, CA; two daughters, Kay Bailey of Morrilton and Sandy Young of Detroit, MI; a sister, Helen Justice of Neptune, TN; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was Friday at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles Trusty and the Rev. Frank Williams. Burial was in New Bethel Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service of Ola.
