Michael Stephen "Mick" Statzer, 58, passed away Jan. 5, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 19, 1953, in Noblesville, and was a Pendleton resident for 30 years.
He was a 1971 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High School, and attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Mick was a carpenter, photographer, electrician for 40 years with IBEW Local 481, spelunker, pilot, arborist, member of Indiana Beekeepers' Association, and a Ham Radio operator.
He loved his family and friends and his three cats that he loved like his kids. He loved camping and canoeing.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Madeline (Rogers) Statzer of Fishers; brother, Jon (wife, Gail) Statzer of Fishers; sisters, Nancy (husband, Orville) Snow of Noblesville, Jeanne (husband, Dan) Tucker of Fishers; and Kim Kunkle of Fortville; sister-in-law, Melody Statzer of Cicero; girlfriend, Rhonda Hall of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Joseph Statzer.
