Katherine Margaret Pavlat, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passed away Aug 13, 2009 at Tendercare Nursing Home. She was born in Pickford, MI on Feb 9, 1924, the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Beaudin) Santigo.
Katherine was a member of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians. She loved people and had lots of friends. She enjoyed getting together and spending time with them.
Katherine is survived by ten children: Larry (Janet) Pavlat, Veronica Caskey, James (Kathy) Pavlat, Rosaline (Lynn) Armstrong, Howard (Angie) Pavlat, Gene (Mar) Pavlat, Anton Pavlat, Gloria (Tony) Kangas, Dale (Sue) Pavlat, Phillip (Debbie) Pavlat, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Alois Pavlat; two children: Richard and Tina; a granddaughter: Tina Marie Pavlat; and a daughter in-law: Ann Marie Pavlat.
