Thula Herrin Hunnicutt, age 96, formerly of Gravelly, died Friday, June 18, 1999 at Mitchell's Nursing Home in Danville. She was born July 1, 1902 in Nola, Arkansas to the late Robert and Laurah Belle Journey Harris. She was a co-owner of the S. C. Herrin Store in Gravelly. A homemaker and a member of the Danville Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, S. C. Herrin and her second husband, Julian Hunnicutt.
Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Brehman "B.K., and Marie Herrin of Tulsa, OK; 1 grandson and his wife, Steve and Cathy Herrin of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter and her husband, Angelia and George Farrell of Fairfax. VA; 3 great grandchildren, Sam and Cathie Herrin and Alistair Farrell.

Funeral services were Monday, June 21, at 10:30 a. m. at the Danville Church of Christ with Brother John McCourt officiating. Burial was in the Parks Cemetery in Nola.
