Fred Henderson, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 17 in a nursing home in Dickinson Center. Services were held Friday afternoon in the home of his sister, Mrs. Kittie Irish on the Hopkinton-Nicholville road. Rev. Frank McDuffee of Winthrop Congregational church officiating.
Mr. Henderson was a retired farmer, having always lived in Hopkinton. He was born April 11 1861 to David and Fannie Pratt Henderson, who had also one daughter, Mrs. Irish. He married Miss Hannah Lindsay. They had no children. She died May 7, 1933. He has since spent much of the time with his sister.
Surviving are Mrs. Irish, a niece, Mrs. Lloyd (Mildred) Converse, two grand nieces, Ruth and Linda Converse and three grand nephews, James, Charles Robert and David Converse, who all live which has always been the Henderson-Irish homestead.
Interment was made beside his wife in the Hopkinton-Fort Jackson cemetery,
