Joaquin Bargas, late of 913 W. 10th, passed away June 15. Survived by his wife Tomasa Bargas, and children, Mrs. Mario Cruz of Denver, Mrs. Alfonso Gomez of Pueblo, Mrs. Armand Romero and Pete Bargas, both of Caifornia, Daniel Bargas of Denver, Joaquin Bargas Jr. of Pueblo, and Mrs. Joseph Quintana of California. Also survived by a sister in Mexico, 30 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A member of Sacred Heart Cathedral. Recitation of Rosary, 7 p.m. Tuesday, our chapel. Complete arrangements pending.

Joaquin Bargas, June 15. Recitation of Rosary, 7 p.m today, our chapel, and 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Requiem Mass 9 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment Roselawn. The family is at 913 W. 10th.
Joaquin Bargas, 65, 913 W. 10th, a laborer in the wire mill shipping department, started his Pueblo Plant service in March, 1922, in the yard department where he worked for three months before transferring to the wire mills. A native of Mexico, Bargas came to the United States in 1918. He is married, has seven children and 23 grandchildren. Bargas still likes to play baseball and plans to keep up with that sport. He also enjoys traveling and recently returned from Los Angeles where he spent Christmas.
He was baptized August 19, 1894 in Asuncion, Pachuca, Hldalgo, Mexico.
