Etta was the daughter of Earl Britt and the late Marie (McKellar) Britt, she was the oldest child of three children.
Her mom died in 1925 and Etta was only six years old, brother Harold(1920) was only five and brother LaVern(1924) was just one.
Etta's father Earl married Margaret Binder in 1927 and they had four children Kenneth(1927), Betty(1930), Carol(1933) and Shirley(1935).
Etta married Don Sturm on Sept 9, 1935 in Detroit and they had three children Cozette, Onalee and Don
Survivors are her husband (died 18 days later); her three children; three grandchildren; two brothers; one half brother and two half sisters.
Preceding her in death was a half sister Betty.
