Beverly worked at both Mercy Center Hospital and Copley Memorial Hospital. She retired from Northern Illinois University, where she was associated with the Financial Aid Department. Beverly was an avid gardener and dearly loved her children, grandchildren and friends.
Survivors include her loving children, Charles F. Collman-Sorenson of Fort Meyers, FL, Brian S. Collman of Las Vegas, NV, Brenda Collman-Sorenson of Lake Villa, IL, Laura (Don) Kries of Brooklyn Park, MN, Carolyn M. Sutton of Bourbonnais, IL and Vicki (Marcus) Michel of Aurora; ten grandchildren; and close family friend, Keith Bradkowski of Arizona.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by two sons, Mark A. Collman and Jeffrey D. Collman.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2004 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora. Rev. Michael Ragan will officiate. Entombment will take place at River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2004 at the chapel.
