Camala "Camie" Lynne (Haigh) Schneider Vermontville Camala "Camie" Lynne (Haigh) Schneider, 42, of Vermontville, went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2012, after a battle with cancer. Camie was born July 24, 1969, in Charlotte, the daughter of Daniel Haigh and Sharon (Shaver) Locke. She graduated from Charlotte High School in 1987, and worked for the State of Michigan Department of Human Services. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and many friends. Many will remember her willingness to always help others and her beautiful smile. Camie is survived by her husband Steve; her children Chris Hoffman, Justin Hoffman, Kaylee (Robert) Strotheide, step-son Brian Schneider and step-daughter Brianna Schneider; father Daniel (Joan) Haigh and mother Sharon (Duane) Locke; sister Dana Glass and brother Jason (Sarah) Haigh; several step-siblings; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 30 at Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte with Pastor Terry LaDuke officiating. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29 at the Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte. Interment will be in Benton Twp. Cemetery in Potterville. Memorial donations in Camala's memory may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care.
