Airport Expert. Long time civil service employee of United States Department of Defense. Former resident of Farmville, Virginia. Assigned to JUSMMAT in Ankara, Turkey in the 1960s assisting the Turkish Air Force (Turk Hava Kuvetleri) with design and operation of air bases throughout Turkey. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. Returned to the United States in 1970s upon retirement from civil service. Then married long time companion, Margaret Klein. Died as a result of collision with an automobile on Memorial Day weekend while riding his bicycle at age 89. Survived by several children and grandchildren.
