Anne Elizabeth Eagle went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 11th at the age of 96. She was born on December 2nd, 1915 to Joseph and Julia Steagall in Eden, North Carolina.
She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Doris Thompson and her husband Marvin Carl Eagle. She is survived by her children Eugene Marvin Eagle (Libby), Shirley Lovelace and Judy Stokes (Bob). She has 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren plus several great great grandchildren. Her nephews Jack Cline (Mary), Bill Steagall (Basha), Darell Steagall (Patricia). Her devoted dogs Boy and Spunker.
Mrs. Eagle went to work at Nicolelli and sons in Jacksonville, Florida as head supervisor. She was a designer and pattern maker. She retired in 1978 and worked part time for Mikey's of Avondale and Blair Woolvertine. She opened and operated her own company, Eagle Designs. Mrs. Eagle was a long time member of Hyde Park Baptist Church. She was presently attending Word of Faith.
The service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 10:00 A.M. at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home. 111 Blanding Blvd. The burial following at the same location. Pastor Simone Lyons Fouraker officiating.
