Joanne M. Guill, 71, of Cheyenne, died Jan. 16 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 29, 1940, in Buffalo and had lived here for 43 years.

Mrs. Guill was a craft enthusiast, enjoyed scrapbooking and bowling, was a member of Grassroots Cribbage Club and a poker association, was an avid reader and a volunteer election judge for the Democratic Party.

She is survived by a son, Robert Guill (Phyllis Moore) of Bilonia, Ark.; two daughters, Mary Scherden (Matthew Crawford) and Shannon Guill (Gale Shuto), all of Cheyenne; son-in-law Joe Scherden of Cheyenne; niece Liz Holaday (Mark); 18 grandchildren, Brittany Scherden (Les Whiteface), Jessica Scherden, Joe Scherden Jr., Timmy Scherden, Jon Crawford, Sean Guill, Drew Keilt, Kelly Conroy-Gerrard (Tycee), Jaimelyn Chavaree (Michael), Hannah Guill, Erin Guill, Chase Guill, Ty Holaday, Heather Holaday, Austin Holaday, Bailey Holaday, Thomas Shuto and Wyatt Holaday; and three great-grandchildren, Audrey Whiteface, Maddison Conray-Gerrard and Natalee Chavaree.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Guill, on April 29, 2005; her parents, Albert and Mary Martin; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters.
