DUXBURY - Margaret (Pond) Watts 89, a homemaker, died in Bay Path Nursing Home after a long illness. Mrs. Watts was a member of the Eastern Star in Quincy and a past member of Wollaston Congregational Church in Mass. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafts.
Born in Clifton Forge, Virginia, she was educated in the Virginia schools. She lived in Wollaston, Mass. before moving to Duxbury in 1985.
Wife of the late Ellis R. Watts, she is survived by her daughter-in-law, Annette Watts of Duxbury, a grandson and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke Center. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Warren, Maine.
