Verna R. White, age 88, of New Orleans, LA, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2007 in Gulfport, MS. She was born on November 16, 1918 and was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. She was of the Catholic Faith.
Verna was preceded in death by her husband, Albert D. White, Sr.; parents, Juste and Josephine Savoie; her brother, Lloyd Savoie; and her sister, Estelle Musso.
She is survived by her children (2 sons and 1 daughter). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The visitation is on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Williams Catholic Church in Kiln, MS. A Memorial Mass follow at 11:00 am at the Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum in New Orleans, LA at a later date.
