Anna Kjerstine Maria Kathrine Hanson was born 1/19/1891, one of 13 children. She married Arthur Theodore Jepson on 1/10/1910. Eight children were born to this union. Irene Evelyn (1910-1990); Lucille Winefred (1912-1979); Howard Lester (1913-1982); Mabel Rozella (1915-1946); Mildred Louise (8/11/1917); Magnus Soren (1919-1983); Helen LaJune (7/16/1920); and Allan Theodore (1922-1985).

Anna and Arthur lived all of their married life on the same farm raising cattle, horses and hogs. They were members of the Ingemann Lutheran Church, where they were married and buried. They both enjoyed music very much. They played the piano and sang duets in the church.

Anna was a very busy homemaker; gardening, papering, cooking, and seamstress, besides raising 8 children with no water & electricity, and putting all 8 through high school.

After Arthur passed away in 1951, Anna moved into Moorhead and lived there for 11 years. She passed away May, 1962.
