Born near Petrolia in Fairview Township, July 10, 1933, she was the daughter of Clara A. Berry Logan of Petrolia and the late Clarence W. Logan, who died July 10, 1996.
She was a member of the Fairview United Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star of Butler.
Mrs. Jack was a 1951 graduate of Karns City High School; and after graduation, she attended The Butler Business College. She had been employed at Mellon Bank in Chicora for several years.
In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband, Harold A. Jack, whom she married June 18, 1953, at her parents' home in Petrolia; two sons, Ross L. Jack and his wife, Laurie, of Grove City and Vincent R. Vogel and his wife, Rhonda, of Butler; and four grandchildren, Michael and Chelsea Harrison, both of Grove City, and Cory and Kristi Vogel, both of Butler. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
JACK - Friends of Alda. Lou Jack, who died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at RICHARD D. HILLIS FUNERAL HOME, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Rowe, his church pastor, officiating. Private burial will be at Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia. .
