Mary Jean(Jeanne)Sylvestre was lost to us by drowning in Palmer, Alaska 1977...
While on a moose hunting trip, her party was crossing a river by horseback. She fell off her horse...she may have lived had she not tried to save the horse...gone in an instant...She has never been found.
Born to Charles Conly Ward and Constance Jean Farus. Married Tom T Hunt and later divorced.
She left behind 4 children, Sherry, Jeanne, Linda and John.
She has 9 grand children and 10 great grandchildren.
NOTE: Sadly, Annamarie Jean, Great granddaughter, died before birth on 1/25/2013

She would have delighted in all of her grand babies...and now the great grand babies....

Her Great Granddaughters, Samantha Jean, and the late Annamarie Jean was given her middle name...
Mom was a school bus driver for Mat-Su School District.
She loved her job, and delighted in her "little kids" always keeping them safe.
