Joan was born April 8, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, and passed away May 20, 2012 at home in Littleton, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Fred J. Artus, and her first husband, Thomas J. Foley. She is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Butterstein; daughter, Kathleen Coulter; grandsons Curtis (Staci) Casey and James (Melissa) Casey; two great granddaughters, Josslyn Lane Casey and Kylee Ruth Casey; step-daughters, Amy (Ken) Hughes and Ani (Kent) Fagan; and grandchildren, Elyse, Ryan and Melissa Hughes and Mikaela, Karissa and Daniel Fagan. She spent the first part of her life as an excellent student, then a dancer in New York City before moving to Colorado in 1972. She worked in Colorado until her retirement, then traveled and met Arthur Butterstein in 2005. Memorial Service, Wednesday, 11am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Committal, Ft. Logan National Cemetery. -
