Miss Frances Ross
Will BE Brought Here For Services
Miss Frances Ross, a former resident of this city, died yesterday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in Hendersonville, N.C., according to word received by relatives here. Her passing terminated a long illness.
The deceased was born in Madison on Sept. 17, 1866, and was in her 83rd year. She was a daughter of the late John B. and Frances Bachman Ross. Miss Ross was educated in the Madison public schools and was graduated from Madison high school. She was very active in the American Red Cross during the first world war.
Miss Ross was a sister of the late Taylor W. Ross of this city. She is survived by two nephews and two nieces, J. Graham Ross, John M. Ross and Misses Nancy S. Ross and Mary Nash Ross.
The remains will be brought to Madison for burial. Time of the final rites will be announced later.
