Mrs Jennie Deming 88 of Rt 1 Elm Rd, died at 3:45 am today in her home after an illness of three weeks. Mrs Deming was born in London, Ont, Canada and moved to Indianapolis in 1870. She has lived here for the last 43 years. As Jennie Lewis she married Charles R Deming in Indianapolis in 1888. He died in 1931. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Thomas A Weer, with whom she lived and Mrs Charles Nedderman of South Bend, seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was a member of the first Methodist Church. Funeral services will take place at 3:30 pm Wednesday in the Bubb Chapel with Rev Robert E Seitz, pastor of Coalbush Evangelical United Brethern CHurch officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call at the chapel after 7:00 pm today.
