Aged Resident Of Town Lima Passes Away

Plymouth -- Phillip Allman, aged 85, passed away at his home in the town of Lima at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Allman is well known in the county. In August of this year he and his wife celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Edward Kreutzinger at Beechwood, and at that time 150 relatives join in celebrating the jubilee the occasion the Ladies Aid Society of the St. Thomas Lutheran church of the town of Lima came in a body to surprise the couple and many people from out of town also were present.

Mr. Allman was born on September 8, 1843 and his marriage occurred on August 15, 1868.

Deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Allman , one daughter Mrs. Kreutzinger, two sons, Emil and Edward of the town of Lima; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be Friday afternoon, but complete arrangements have not been made as yet. Burial will take place in Onion River cemetery.
