78 of Phoenix, Arizona peacefully passed away on Feb 2, 2008 with her loving family at her side.
She was born on Dec 9, 1929 to the late Carl and Olga Sawitke of Cleveland, Ohio. Her loving sisters are Clarice Willis, N. Olmsted, Ohio and Vera Fronek , Phoenix, Arizona who is deceased. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Claudia Crichfield, Georgette McGarry, Janice Owen, James Fronek, Karen Fronek, Ronald Fronek, Kent Fronek, and Elise Olausen, Bruce Willis, Duane Willis, Ted Willis, Dwight Willis, also numerous great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Aunt Muriel left Ohio for Phoenix in 1955. She worked over 35 years for Mountain Bell Telephone and happily retired in 1990. She was a world traveler enjoying such far away places as China, Australia, Greece, The Amazon, South America, and many cruises. She relished traveling with her dear sisters, Clarice and Vera, and her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed crafting and entered many boutiques. For many years, she lovingly volunteered at Baptist Hospital bringing her cheerful voice and smile to the ill. We had lots of fun with "Auntie M" and she will be dearly missed, we love you! Visitation will be held on Wednesday Feb 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM with The Celebration of her life at 11:00 AM both to be held at Greenwood Mortuary Chapel 719, 27th Ave. in Phoenix.
