Vada L. Stephenson, 76, of Dearborne Heights, MI., died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, MI.
She was born June 2, 1936 in Wayne County, WV., a daughter of the late Elzie and Ada Bradshaw Adkins.
Vada was a Train Order Operator for CSX Railroad.
She was preceded in death by a son, Neal Stephenson and a daughter, Lyndra Stephenson.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Stephenson, five sisters, Jo Ellen Mills of Wayne, WV., Janice Parsons of Washington, WV., Earnestine Brown of Columbus, OH., Linda Scheu of Akron, OH., Charlene Paulsen of Columbus, OH., one brother, Keith Adkins of Columbus, OH., and two grandchildren, Jacob and Jessica.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne, WV., by Brother A.J. Perry Burial will follow at Stephenson Family Cemetery.
