Mrs. Fulkerson was a secretary for the Alpina Public Schools for 28 years.
Memorial services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, today, Tuesday, September 26, 2000, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Grant R. Lobb officiating.
Mrs. Fulkerson was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, December 1, 1917, the daughter of Conrad and Nellie (Erickson) Bieshaar. She married Norris Neal Fulkerson, June 30, 1940, in Bailey, Colorado, and they had lived in numerous states while he served in the military, before moving to Alpena and then to Owosso in 1983.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church; a Red Cross volunteer; a member of the Memorial Healthcare Center Auxiliary; the Scleroderma Foundation; and the Music Knights in Wales, Florida.
Survivors include; husband, Neal Fulkerson of Owosso; daughter Karen Timm of Midland; son, Dennis (Carol) Fulkerson of Mt. Morris; daughter, Janice (Bill) Lowe of Harrison; two foster children; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers Wendell (Emma) Bieshaar of Aurora, California and Carl (Jane) Bieshaar of Denver, California.
She was predeceased by; her parents; daughter Sonya Ann; and brothers, John and Homer.
