Edwin R. Huebner, 1829 Seventh St., Rock Island, Ill., formerly of Brillion, age 92, died Friday, July 20, 1990, unexpectedly in Rock Island.

He was born Feb. 17, 1898 in the town of Brillion, son of the late Manrow and Alwine Schulz Huebner. He was married to Clara Persohn on March 31, 1920 in Brillion. She preceded him in death in February 1956. He then married Francis Feidler on August 21, 1963 in Appleton. She died in April 1981.

He farmed in the town of Brillion until 1961. He worked for the City of Brillion from 1962 until retiring in 1966.

Survivors are two daughters and sons-in-law, Merril and Leonard Schmidt, New Holstein, and Edith and Wayne Hafeman, Rock Island, Ill.; Four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wives, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral was Monday at the Rural Methodist Church, Brillion. Burial was in the Brillion Community Cemetery.
