"A solemn high mass of requiem was celebrated for Mrs. Rose Pasco Sheldon at the funeral services Tuesday morning at St. Francis church by the pastor, Rev. E. C. Fontaine with Rev. E. C. Dubois, M. S., of LaSallette seminary as deacon and Rev. Fr. LeBlanc, M. S., also of LaSalette as subdeacon, St. Francis choir with Mrs. Levina McCarty and Joseph McDonough, the soloists who sang the requiem mass, with Miss Mae Kennedy as organist. The services were at 9 o'clock.
The church was filled with friends and relatives of Mrs. Sheldon who died Saturday morning at the Claremont General Hospital here she was admitted 24 hours previously.
Interment was in St. Francis Cemetery and bearers were Peter and Thomas Bianchi, Daniel Hufnail, Ralph Landry, Raymond E. Osgood and A. L. Maynard.
Rose was a native of Windsor, born 30 years ago, Feb. 17, 1907, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Pasco. She attended school in Windsor, graduating from Windsor High School in the class of 1924. She had a happy disposition and a facile manner of making friends which endeared her to a great many people. She married Frank Sheldon of Springfield and lived in Springfield and Ludlow. Returning to Windsor she was employed at the Windsor Grill and at the freight office of the Central Vermont Railway. She is survived by a three year old daughter, Janaline; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pasco; two sisters, Misses Mary and Julia Pasco of Windsor; and two brothers, Francis and Joseph Pasco of Cleveland, Ohio.
