Mr. Sammie L. Davis, 78, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 3, 2012. He was born in Selma, Alabama on August 14, 1933 to the late William and Henrietta Davis.
He served in the United States Army before returning to a career at Alabama A&M University as Assistant Manager of Campus Dining Services, where he remained a dedicated employee for 35 years. He was an active member of Beta Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated and a member of the Rising Star Lodge #15.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lula Mae Davis.
