"The funeral of Joseph L. Huband was held in St. Francis church on Saturday, Feb. 21 and burial was in St. Francis cemetery, Rev. Father Fontaine officiating. The bearers were Alfred Huband, Jr., Thomas Huband, Harry L. Roberts, Leslie Smith, all nephews of Mr. Huband, also John Comerford and Leon J. Mayo of Windsor.
He leaves to mourn his loss, his widow, Mrs. J. L. Huband of Windsor; a sister, Mrs. H. W. Roberts of Charlestown, N. H., a brother, Alfred H. Huband of Naugatuck, Conn., and a brother and sister in England, also several nieces and nephews. Those from out of town to attend the funeral were Mrs. William Monohan of Dorchester, Mass., Mrs. Paul J. Oliver of Newton, Mass., Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Huband and son of Naugatuck, Conn., Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Huband of Ansonia, Conn., Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Smith of Springfield, Vt., and Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Roberts and son of Charlestown, N. H.
Mr. Huband had been a resident of Windsor for 16 years.
