Murringer- Eugene J. Murringer, 78, 104 Fitzerald St., died Sunday afternoon at his home after a lingering illness. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Muringer, he was born June 14, 1884, at Sears, and had resided in Bay City for the past 45 years. He was a retired fireman at Aetna Portland Cement Co. and was a member of St. Joseph church. Surviving are his widow, Amelia; two daughters, Mrs. Mary J. Lamorie and Mrs. Clotilda C. Miller, both of Bay City; a son, Vincent J., Bay City, four brothers, George of Baltimore, Bernard of Flint, Edward of Bay City, and Leo, of Vassar; one sister, Mrs. Cecilia Smith, of Bay City; seven grand children; and two great grand children. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel and 11 a.m. at St. Joseph church, the very Rev. Fr. Francis Trotter officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. The body will be at Trahan's after 7 p.m. tonight. Fr. Trotter will rite the rosary Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. at the chapel.
