Phyllis J. Aalderink, age 80, of Holland, passed away on Saturday June 2, 2012.
Phyllis was born on June 3, 1931 in Holland to Simon and Elizabeth (Rotman) Posma. She graduated from Holland High School in 1950 and was a Charter Member of Maranatha Christian Reformed Church. She and her husband Harvey enjoyed spending time at their summer home in Sandy Pines for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harvey Aalderink of Holland; her sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Kathy Aalderink, Larry and Pattie Aalderink, and Randall and Peggy Aalderink; her fifteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dale and Judy Aalderink, Donald Aalderink, and Thelma Beelen; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday June 5, 2012 at the Dykstra Funeral Homes, Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street with Rev. Matthew Stob officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Monday June 4, 2012 at the Mulder Chapel and also be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Graafschap Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
