Bio

My grandmother, Gladys Davis Miller, was the keeper of the family information. It seemed she knew everything, and I grew up hearing her tales of life on the farm every holiday. I inherited her love of family and history and was fortunate to become close friends with a gal who is an amazing researcher and historian who got me started with geneaology. There are many, many times that I wish I could I pick up the phone and call granny to tell her of a latest discovery. She would have been so thrilled!

My husband and I are from Washington State. In 2006, we moved to Grand Rapids, MI, and a year ago in 2010, we moved to Atlanta, GA. I keep telling him we're moving backwards in time to where our ancestor's lived in the Midwest and the South before they made their way out West. It amazes me that I now live only an hour away from where my gggrandfather was born in 1865!

My research on my maternal side includes: Miller, Briggs, Osborn, Hunsley, Edsall, Elwess, Brown, Tindel, Quick, Davis, Caldwell
On my paternal side: Rhodes, Reese, Greer, Messer, Pullen, Hamby, Davis

Research on my husband's maternal side includes:
Johnson, Larson, Chelin, Strom, Erickson, Jacobson, Bolinger, Sabin, Melby, Robison
On his paternal side:
Olson, Strand, Anderson, Martinson, Aker, Eilertson, Klimp, Winkie
