I was born in 1949 in Moscow, Idaho. I have a 29 year old daughter and live in Bellevue, Wa.
Two years ago my Mother came to live with me. She had Alzheimer's and could no longer care for herself. Because of her disease, we spent a lot of time looking at old photo albums. She also told me a lot of stories. Because of the Alzheimers, I didn't know which stories were true. She died at my home on Christmas Eve 2010. My Father had died suddenly in 2000. Hence my interest in genealogy.
I've enjoyed being "Columbo" and searching out my ancestors and their stories. I wish I had spent more time asking questions and listening to stories when my parents and grandparents were alive. Hopefully my searches can fill in the blanks.
