I am a direct descendent of Elijah Peck, a Babtist Minister from Pleasant Mount PA. and a direct descendent of Nathan L. Kennedy also a notable early settler of Pleasant Mount. I am a history buff with a particular interest in Civil War period ancestors. My Great-Great Uncle George Washington Peck was a member of the United States Sharpshooters 2nd Regiment as was his brother-in-law Robert E. Alexander, both of whom lived in Pleasant Mount.
