I was born in Brady, McCulloch County, Texas, but was raised in and around the Voca, McCulloch County, Texas community. After high school graduation (1959) in Brady, I attended Durham's Business School in Austin, then joined the U. S. Air Force on 11 Jan 1961 and served until 1 Oct 1982, retiring as a Master Sergeant. I then was a City Letter Carrier for the U. S. Postal Service here in San Angelo, Texas for 21 years. After my second retirement, I researched Ancestry.com during the years 2008 through 2014 establishing my Owens Family Tree and became a Find A Grave member during this research. I truly enjoy doing research and consider myself proficient at it, however; my only drawback is that I'm to much of a perfectionist at times. I am very willing to provide assistance to anyone.
