I am relatively new to genealogy but I really enjoy it. I have found this site to be helpful in finding info on distant family members and discovering family I never knew existed. I am thankful to the individuals who have created the memorials for the family I have found on here.

At the same time, I am also researching the genealogy of the English (British) Monarchy. Very tedious, yet just as fun!!

I am (and will always will be) in the process of building a family tree for my family and my husband's family. Here are the surnames I am interested in:

My paternal side (father's family):
Bost (originated in Germany as Bast who eventually settled in North Carolina and parts of Virginia)
Menscer (maiden name of my paternal grandmother

My maternal side (mother's family):
Rittenhouse (Georgia and Florida)
Flye (maiden name of my maternal grandmother)

My husband's family
Keller (of West Virginia)
Annon (West Virginia) - his mother's family
Poling (West Virginia) - mother and father's family

I welcome any comments, info, etc that others may have or find in their research.
