Bio

I have been studying ancestors for over forty years and now that I am not working, I am thankful to have this interesting hobby. Many of my earliest ancestors came to Virginia in the 1600's. In the 1700's they came mostly to Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. Most were from England with some from Scotland and Wales. In the 1800's many of these pushed into Kentucky and Tennessee. My latest immigrants in 1836 were from France and landed in the port of New Orleans then took a steamboat up the Mississippi and Ohio rivers to Louisville. By then some from Kentucky had moved to Texas.I enjoy studying all of them and the exciting times they lived in.
