Bio

Continuing family genealogy started by my Mother after she viewed the ABC mini-series "Roots" in 1977. She would go to her native parish of Avoyelles and manually search family ancestry, sketch out by hand family trees, talk to her grandparents extensively gathering and gleaning family lore and histories. Upon my Mothers passing in 1996, I was given her ancestry work she lovingly stored in her huge family bible. It is with that I continued on her work, but through the passage of time, and the advent of online genealogical websites, I embellished her initial work. In that, I was able to find this "Find-A-Grave" website and added to the my zeal for this work. I believe every life and legacy should be honored for what they put into motion all those years ago with all their seeds they planted, sprung forth in who, what and where I am today. Thanks Mom!
