My journey began in 2017.
I received a diagnosis of Stage 1 breast cancer.
We had no knowledge of a familial history of cancer.
We created a family tree on Ancestry and reviewed the death certificates of our ancestors in search of answers.
We found the information we need and are empowered by this knowledge.

My Great Aunt did extensive research in writing our family history and connecting the gravesites of those gone before us.
I will honor her legacy for our past, present and future generations.

The discovery of our heritage, the families reunited, the cousins we meet and the friends we make along the way, are priceless!
